Cookie Policy
Last updated 27 July 2026
This policy explains how AdvanceCV uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you are signed in. Similar technologies such as local storage work in much the same way.
2. How we use them
AdvanceCV keeps cookie use to a minimum. We use them mainly to make the service work, not to track you around the web.
- Essential cookies — keep you signed in, keep your session secure, and remember your progress in the builder. The service cannot work without these.
- Payment cookies — set by Stripe during checkout to process your payment securely and help prevent fraud.
- Preference storage— remembers small choices, such as the template you last worked on, so you don't have to start over.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell data gathered through cookies.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by the providers that power parts of the service, such as Stripe for payments and Supabase for authentication. These are used only to deliver the features you asked for.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will stop you from signing in and using the builder, because those cookies are what keep your session working.
